Solutions

SMART PARKING

The solution helps drivers to save time, reduce pollution and supports citizens to follow the public parking policy. An interactive demo is installed at the booth to demonstrate how the solution works.

SMART WASTE MANAGEMENT

The solution is designed to help utility companies and cities to improve their services around the waste collection. You will have a chance to meet our partners and discuss on different scenarios.

SMART LIGHTING

The Smart lighting is a key solution for a city as it greatly reduces energy and maintenance costs, while at the same time improving the overall safety feeling within a city. We are running a lot of pilots in Europe and we will integrate real time data in our Mayor Dashboard.

SMART PUBLIC SAFETY

The solution enables a city to use networked surveillance cameras in combination with a wide range of state of the art video analytics modules in order to improve law enforcement and increase safety within the city Cameras will be installed at our booth and connected to the Mayor Dashboard to demonstrate how a city official could analyze the data and take actions.

SMART EVC

The solution combines charging infrastructure (connected to more than 40,000 locations throughout Europe) with easy to use software that helps drivers find, book and pay for electric vehicle charging. The solution is demonstrated with a high-end hybrid car.

SMART BIKE SHARING

The solution provides a simple way for citizens to find the closest bike to rent. The bicycles can be easily installed across the city centers and close to major attractions.

SMART AIR QUALITY MONITORING

The solution provides a scalable solution to measure and track the air quality status in an affordable and flexible manner. The city of Bonn is implementing the solution so you can view real time data in our Mayor Dashboard.

SMART PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The solution helps the city to make public transportation easier to use and more reliable while at the same time helping to streamline operations with new integrated features like ticketing and green light requests.

SMART MAYOR DASHBOARD

The solution enables a city to understand and visualize recent happenings and how to act on that information. City administrators will use the information to steer the city the same way as a driver uses a car´s dashboard, but with much greater flexibility.

Many of our solutions will be linked to the Mayor Dashboard so you don’t just see the interface but real use cases and understand how the Dashboard can be customized and offer a powerful tool to the city officials in the decision making process.

Smart Construction

Smart Construction is a digital monitoring solution for bridges, tunnels, buildings, and other infrastructure objects made of concrete. Sensors in the construction measure temperature, humidity, and corrosion. The sensor data can help identify critical conditions or irreparable damage to the concrete structures.

E-Ticket in Museums and Archaeological Monuments

The e-ticket decisively improves visitors experience, enabling them to purchase their tickets online and reducing queuing time to the sites.

City Pass

The City Pass,is a new way to provide smart city services such as bike sharing or library usage for citizens and tourists. City Pass functions can be used by means of a card or a mobile app. Digital transactions are settled via blockchain technology, direct cash flows between the paid services and the City Pass platform are securely mapped. The City Pass is an open and independent platform for additional smart city services.

Smart City Map

We build an interactive map to demonstrate Deutsche Telekom’s smart city system integration capabilities in Europe, showing reference projects in more than 20 cities. Visitors can get more details by selecting cities or solutions they are interested in.

Data Intelligence Hub

Data Intelligence Hub, is a virtual market place for data sharing, which allows you to manage data securely, as well as confidently prepare and monetize it. The city authorities can offer the city’s freely available data sets via the system, for example information as sight-seeing opportunities, the location of Wi-Fi hotspots, taxi stands and waste collection times.

Smart Bench

The smart bench allows you to surf in the internet while charging your mobile devices, powered by green solar energy. It is equipped with a wifi hotspot, two smart USB connectors and an independent wireless charger. It is ideal for all popular locations in a city, parks or airports.

In classical literature, the city was sometimes referred to as the City of the Violet Crown, because of its sunset displaying hues of violet and purple. Sure its history dates many centuries back and Athens is also the home of the word "Polis" meaning city.

So turning a "smart city" is something not to be neglected, and with the first public buildings being equipped with the latest ICT infrastructure, the foundation is already laid. The newly implemented E-Ticketing in Museums and Archaeological Sites is an example of how a smart solution can improve the experience of millions visitors and tourists.

Next to being an important industrial hub, Gijón is also known for a controversial football during the word cup between Germany and Austria, where due to an unofficial "non-aggression pact" basically nothing happened in the second quarter. This way both teams profited, but it was clearly a sign of very unsporty behaviour.

Luckily, such stand still is far from how the city itself is developing into one of Spain’s most advanced smart cities, with a clear vison of its future and how to involve also its citizens. Gijón introduced an integrated Smart City model, by combining the data from the City with information from other sources to enable new and innovative use cases and better services for their citizens.

The historical town of Kazimierz Dolny is well known in Poland for its old town, where many buildings from Renaissance and Baroque era can be admired. Due to the lack of industries with harmful effects on the environment, the surrounding nature is mostly untouched and can be explored by a network of hiking trails.

But future is also finding its way into the idyll, making Kazimierz Dolny one of the most advanced smart cities of Poland with a comprehensive implementation of integrated smart solutions like traffic information system, smart parking, air quality monitoring, surveillance, smart lighting, EVC and smart bike sharing.

The town of Trencin has a long history, it has been inhabited almost continuously since the stone age. Situated along a side track of the amber route, it is today mainly known for its Castle and a Roman inscription dating back to the year 180.

And it is looking to a bright future, with smart solutions like parking for disabled people adding a special focus on inclusion.

Krk Island is the biggest island in Crotia and Adriatic Sea. As one of the most diverse island with old towns, beautiful and crystal clear beaches it offers a true Mediterranean atmosphere to many tourists that visit it every year.

With the aim to preserve the fascinating nature while preparing the island for the future, Krk turned into Croatia’s first smart island, introducing EV infrastructure and other smart sustainable solutions.
